Hungarian Wine: Grapes, Regions and Styles


Discover Hungarian Wine in just 8 hours — a course designed especially for expats and international residents who want to explore the wines of their new home. Dive into Hungary’s key grape varieties, wine regions and iconic wine styles while tasting 12 carefully selected Hungarian wines. By the end of the day, you’ll have a solid foundation for understanding Hungarian wine — and choosing what to drink next. No previous wine knowledge is required, and the course fee includes an English-language wine book to take home and explore further.
 
 
We apply the principles of systematic approach to tasting when it is about to make comparative analyses about 12 different wines in the course. Via these systematic wine tastings, course participants can get to know better their own senses and their functioning and also the fundamental wine styles as well as by the end of the course they will be able to complete solid wine descriptions.
 
An english-language textbook is given to all participants.
